Gyaarah Gyaarah is a remake of the Korean series ‘Signal’. It’s a crime-thriller following events in three different timelines 1990, 2001, and 2016. They have explored the concept of time travel with both protagonists connected via a non-functional walkie-talkie. How the two connect and solve cases is very fascinating to watch.
Plot: The series is set in the beautiful hills of Uttarakhand. Here an impulsive, enthusiastic and young police inspector Yug Arya gets connected to Police Inspector Shaurya Anthwal via a non-functional walkie-talkie across three different timelines. And this transmission happens at 11.11 pm only for a minute. So basically the timelines are intertwined and the two (Yug & Shaurya) help each other in solving unsolved or cold cases. The last episode hints at a second season coming up.
Verdict
Very thrilling, engaging & intriguing. Brilliant acting by Kritika Kamra, Dhairya Karwa, Harsh Chhaya & last but not least Raghav Juyal (cockroach fame). Everything is spot on - the script, the direction, the locales, and of course the actors. Definitely a must-watch, with no dull moments, and the pace is fast enough to keep you glued to your seats. Binge watch this one.
