Are you worried sick about your skin, do you feel it’s too oily or dry? Having breakouts?
Here are a few basic skincare tips that must be followed in the morning and night.
Morning
Step 1: Cleansing-Wash your face with an appropriate face wash, based on your skin type.
Step 2: Moisturizing-Wipe your face and while it’s still damp, apply moisturizer. Generously. This will ensure that your skin remains hydrated.
Step 3: Sun protection: Apply sunscreen religiously, don’t skip this step as the sunscreen is needed to protect the skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays. Choose one that is SPF 50 and above. Nowadays, there are sunscreens available with Vit C & Hyaluronic acid. These are also worth a try.
Apart from this, you can apply under-eye cream or face serum (collagen-based) before applying the moisturizer.
Night
Step 1: Cleansing: Use cleansing milk to get rid of the impurities & open the pores.
Step 2: Toning: Helps to balance the skin’s pH level and remove impurities left on the skin after cleansing—including residual dirt, oil and makeup.
Step 3: Moisturizing-Using a night cream/moisturizer will ensure that your skin remains hydrated till morning. If you’re 40 plus, you could consider using a cream with anti-aging properties.
Also, ensure that you don’t sleep with makeup on. This will clog the pores and cause breakouts.
(P.S: Results may vary from person-person)
